Equine Somatic Pathways - Foundations

SPRING 2026. Course Date begins March 1st.

This is A 12-month professional training with a one-month integration and capstone period for completion.

This course is designed for Equine Facilitated Psychotherapists, Equine Professionals who teach students, and Equine Facilitated Life Coaches.

We’ll be diving into equine facilitated somatic relational work exploring the connection between self, horse, and client through somatic embodied experience and practical tools. You’ll be introduced to a wide range of resources for regulation, equine-based attunement, and foundational practices drawn from an integrative somatic approach that supports safety, connection, and transformative relational work with horses.

This offering is close to my heart. My intention is to support those working at the intersection of equine wisdom and human healing for those who recognize how our histories live in our bodies, and how those embodied patterns shape our relationships with horses and people alike.  This course is also designed with the well-being of the horse centered, emphasizing equine regulation, choice and authentic connection.

My yearling walked to me, showed leader focus, then actually moved me towards my 5-year-old gelding and they made a little triangle with me to groom.
